Palm Harbor has more elevation change than most of Pinellas County, and homes built into those slopes often have downspouts discharging onto ground that already sheds water toward the house. Clearing the gutter is half the job; the other half is telling you where the water goes once it leaves the downspout.
The canopy through Ridgemoor, Highland Lakes and the older streets off Alderman Road is thick sand live oak and red cedar, both of which shed fine debris continuously. Out toward Ozona and Crystal Beach you add salt exposure, so we pay attention to fastener corrosion and seam sealant on those properties.

In the Tampa Bay area, twice a year is the honest answer for most homes — once after the spring oak and pine drop, and once before hurricane season really gets going. If your roof sits under mature live oaks or slash pines, like most of Lutz, Odessa and Carrollwood does, twice a year is the minimum. Homes with very little tree cover can often stretch to once a year. We will tell you which category your house is in rather than guessing high.
